Fund manager Mirova takes 49% stake in Bouygues subsidiary Axione

Friday 1 February 2019 | 10:00 CET | News
Mirova, a subsidiary of Natixis Investment Managers (part of French banking group BPCE) has acquired a 49 percent stake in French telecom infrastructure operator Axione, which is majority owned (51%) by Bouygues through its construction division Bouygues  Energies & Services. Mirova has been working with Axione since 2009 to fund public initiative network projects. At the end of 2018, the two partners strengthened their ties through the creation of CityFast, a new venture that secured a tender from Bouygues Telecom to bring FTTH connectivity to millions of premises in French urban areas.
