Galaxy S4 to drive Samsung market share growth - IHS

Samsung's Galaxy S4, set to be sold by 327 operators in 155 countries starting at the end of April, will help the company increase its mobile phone market share lead over its nearest competitor to 11 percentage points in 2013, predicts IHS. Samsung had a 28 percent share of global mobile phone shipments in 2012, ahead of Nokia with 24 percent and Apple with 10 percent, according to a March 2012 forecast.
