Gemalto to delist from Euronext

Tuesday 16 April 2019 | 11:08 CET | News
Thales confirmed that it will soon start the statutory buy-out proceedings to increase its stake in Gemalto from the current 97 percent to full ownership. Gemalto will then delist from Euronext Amsterdam and Euronext Paris, in a move expected to take place shortly after its annual general meeting on 28 May. After agreeing to buy Gemalto at the end of 2017, Thales completed a 15-month regulatory clearance process for the acquisition, which was finalised at the beginning of April.
