Gemalto's Q4 revenues down 1% hurt by weak SIM business

Gemalto reported fourth quarter revenues of EUR 828 million, down 1 percent year-on-year at constant exchange rates. Its SIM business remained weak, posting a double-digit fall in revenues, only partly offset by double-digit growth in M2M. As a result, the Mobile business line saw revenues fall by 7 percent to EUR 293 million. The Payment & Identity division posted revenues of EUR 533 million, growing at a slower pace than in the previous quarter (+2% from +7% in Q3).
