German Aerospace Center opens Institute of Quantum Technologies in Ulm

The German Aerospace Center has officially opened the Institute of Quantum Technologies in Ulm. The institute will work to develop technologies based on quantum-mechanical effects for space applications, secure communications and satellite navigation. It will also support quantum technology to a stage of maturity in cooperation with the industry.
