German digital association Bitkom and commercial broadcasters' association Vaunet have each reached an agreement with German copyright collecting society GEMA over licensing payments for subscription video-streaming services like Netflix, Maxdome and Amazon Prime. Under the agreements, license payments will amount to 2.5 percent of the service's net proceeds and at least EUR 0.20 per subscription per month, said Bitkom.
