German Cartel Office asks regional courts to refer to ECJ over Nokia, Daimler patent dispute

The German regional court in Mannheim has postponed announcing a decision in the dispute over car communication patent licensing between Nokia and Daimler until 04 August, following a fax sent by the Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt), Heise Online reports. The Bundeskartellamt recommended submitting the proceedings to the European Court of Justice for an opinion.
