German Cartel Office pledges continued scrutiny of large internet platforms

The German Cartel Office wants to keep markets open to competition and prevent the abuse of dominant market positions at the expense of consumers. The Cartel Office will continue to pursue this agenda in relation to internet platforms, its President Andreas Mundt said at the presentation of the Activity Report 2017/2018 and the Annual Report 2018.
