German cartel regulator investigates Amazon conditions for third-party sellers

Germany's Federal Cartel Office announced an investigation into suspected market abuse by Amazon in its dealings with third-party sellers on Amazon.de. The company's dual role of the largest online retailer in Germany and the biggest online marketplace may be disadvantaging smaller traders on the site, the regulator said.
