German consumer electronics market revenue to fall 4% this year - Bitkom

Revenues in the consumer electronics market will reach EUR 8.96 billion this year, down by 4 percent from EUR 9.3 billion last year, according to figures published by the digital association Bitkom. Revenues has slowed down partly as a result of a mismatch between high demand on one side and delivery bottlenecks and material shortages on the other. Flat-screen TVs will account for the main share of sales this year at EUR 4.07 billion, followed by audio devices with EUR 960 million and game consoles at EUR 750 million. Gaming devices will record the highest increase in sales year-on-year
