German court says Microsoft is violating Motorola patents
A German Court has ruled that patents held by Motorola are being infringed by a wide range of Microsoft products, reports the Financial Times Deutschland. The ruling means that the Xbox games console and Windows 7 products could be blocked from sale in Germany. However, Microsoft said that Motorola could not enforce the decision while an appeal was pending. The disputed patents related to H.264 video compression technology.
