German electric car charging station firm trials SMS access

German charging station provider Franken+ has introduced a pilot system which allows charging stations for electric cars to be unlocked via SMS. As of 09 January in Rueckersdorf, Forchheim and Erlangen, drivers are able to access charging stations by requesting a code via text and making payment with Sunhill's Travipay system.
