German govt says automated motorway driving possible by 2020

The German federal ministry for economics, BMWi, has published its final report on the study 'Highly automated driving on motorways: political-industrial conclusions'. It shows that highly automated driving on motorways will be technologically possible by 2020 and offers great chances for value creation and employment in Germany. In the study, conducted by the by the Fraunhofer Institute of Labour Economics and Organisation (IAO), the experts also refer to the challenges and necessary adaptations of the regulatory framework.
