German govt starts fibre financing programs in April

The German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) said that it is supporting a long-term and nationwide expansion of the fibre network with two programs under the 'Investment credit digital infrastructure' initiative. The programs start on 01 April. The state-owned development bank Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau (KfW) and its partners, banks and savings banks, offer low-interest financing for investments in fibre-optic networks.
