German govt weighs 3 options for Covid-19 tracing app

The German government is assessing different proposals for a coronavirus tracing app, according to its reply to Anke Domscheit-Berg, a member of Die Linke party in parliament, Heise Online reports. The government is evaluating the Pan-European Privacy Preserving Proximity Tracking project (PEPP-PT) app tracing project, the D3PT (Decentralized Privacy Preserving Proximity Tracing) concept, and the technology developed by Accenture in Austria.
