German Industry Federation calls for exclusion of 5G network suppliers posing security risk

The Federation of German industry (BDI) has called for the exclusion of firms who present security concerns from the pool of suppliers of 5G network equipment, Handelsblatt reports. According to the President of the BDI Dieter Kempf, foreign countries "must not exert any influence" on domestic security.
