German industry group VATM asks next govt to improve framework for investments in rural areas

Industry group VATM is calling on the next government to improve the framework for companies investing to expand the fibre and 5G networks in rural areas. Investors are competing especially in rural areas, which "has never happened in Germany" before, VATM president David Zimmer said. The goal is to expand the networks by 2030, he added at the VATM virtual event.
