German Interior Ministry issues third draft on security for critical infrastructure - report

The German Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) has finalised the third draft for the reform of the IT security law, Intrapol.org reports. A central point of the new proposed regulation concerns the use of critical components. Under the third draft, operators of critical infrastructure must now report the use of certified critical components to the BMI.
