German internet industry revenue to rise 75% by 2025 - study

The internet economy in Germany will generate EUR 253 billion in revenues by 2025, a growth of 75 percent, according to a study by internet industry association Eco. Its share of GDP will increase from 4 percent to 7 percent. In 2025, over half a million people will be employed in the internet industry and the e-commerce is expected to grow by 10.3 percent per year.
