German IT associations welcome EC digital single market plan

German IT associations Bitkom, Eco, Breko, Buglas and VATM have welcomed the European Commission's strategy for a digital single market but have released statements with their own reservations and causes. The EC strategy includes a set of targeted actions to be delivered by the end of next year. Bitkom welcomes the commission's plans to remove technical and legal barriers with the aim of free data flows in Europe.
