German market for 5G devices is dominated by Chinese manufacturers - study

Seven out of eleven manufacturers in Germany offering 5G smartphones come from China, according to an analysis by online consumer portal Verivox. Demand for 5G devices is still low, with a market share in the low single-digit percentage range, it added. The market in Germany currently offers 33 5G smartphones, and 64 percent of the manufacturers of those devices are of Chinese origin.
