German Parliament digital chief calls for Huawei ban on 5G networks

The chairman of the Digital Agenda commission of the German Parliament, Manuel Hoferlin, has called on the government to ban Huawei from building 5G networks in the country, the Neuen Berliner Redaktionsgesellschaft reports. Germany should "only rely on European suppliers", he said.
