German parliament to decide on security rules for 5G after summer break - report

The German Parliament will decide on the IT security law after the summer break, Reuters reports citing a government official. The law should define the standards for suppliers to participate in the construction of the 5G network. A sensitive political point is the participation of Chinese supplier Huawei. Some lawmakers want to exclude Huawei from the pool of firms buildiing the 5G network.
