German regulator allocates frequencies for professional use of wireless microphones for free

The German Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) said that it has allocated frequencies in the range between 470 MHz and 694 MHz for professional use of wireless microphones. These frequencies can be used free of charge in the cultural sector without any formal application, said President of the Federal Network Agency Jochen Homann.
