German regulator confirms DT vectoring plans, access rules

The German regulator has finalised regulations for the roll-out of VDSL vectoring, following approval from the European Commission and commitments from Deutsche Telekom. DT said it committed to make an additional investment of up to EUR 1 billion and offer around 6 million more customers broadband at up to 100 Mbps as part of its plan to connect all households in areas near local exchanges to high-speed broadband. The Bundesnetzagentur said the final decision contains all the terms for ensuring competitors have access to Telekom's local loop in the coming years. In areas where vectoring is
