German regulator publishes outlook for mobile frequency tenders in 2026, 2034

The German Federal Network Agency, Bundesnetzagentur, has published a "Frequency Compass" with an initial outlook on the tender offer for frequencies for mobile communications in 2026 and 2034. Rights to use 800 MHz, 1,800 MHz and 2.6 GHz frequencies expire on 31 December 2025. The agency said that expiries must not lead to a standstill in network expansion.
