German state of Hesse plans EUR 100 mln in subsidies for broadband expansion next year

The German federal state of Hesse plans to provide EUR 100 million in subsidies for expanding broadband next year. The administration there will finance the expansion through subsidies to be included in the digital budget for 2020, State Secretary Patrick Burghardt told Deutsche Presse Agentur.
