Germans businesses see potential of IoT - study

Almost three-quarters of German organisations believe the Internet of Things will be important to their business in the future, a new study has found. In a survey of 395 German organisations, the IDC found that 72 percent believe the IoT will be "important" or "very important" to their businesses in coming years. However, most enterprises were only at the initial planning stages of IoT initiatives, with large companies more advanced than medium-sized or small ones, the IDC found.
