Germany plans driverless-car test track

German transport minister Alexander Dobrindt announced plans for a test track for driverless cars in an interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. The track for the pilot project 'Digital test site motorway' is expected to be equipped with additional services for communication between the road and the vehicle as well as between vehicles.
