Germany should aim for world's best digital infrastructure

German Minister of the Economy, Sigmar Gabriel, considers the current efforts to provide broadband at speeds of 50 Mbps by 2018 as insufficient, and states aims to have the world's best digital infrastructure with gigabit networks by 2025 at the latest, handelsblatt.com reports.
