Germany's LTE network lags in terms of speed, availability

Germany has one of the slowest 4G mobile networks in Europe with an average LTE download speed of only 22.7 Mbps, according to a new report from OpenSignal, a company that maps mobile coverage via crowd-sourced data. Germany was ranked 32 out of a possible 36 in terms of average download speeds. The report said the countries with the fastest average LTE download speeds were the Netherlands (42.1 Mbps), Hungary (39.2 Mbps), Belgium (36.1 Mbps) and Bulgaria (33.3 Mbps), while the only countries to provide slower average download speeds than Germany were Georgia (20.7 Mbps), Poland (20.17 Mbps),
