Germany's Open-Xchange secures EUR 21 mln funding

German-based provider of open-source email and security software Open-Xchange has raised EUR 21 million in funding from Iris Capital and existing shareholders including eCAPITAL to support further growth. The company currently delivers its software to over 200 million consumers and SMEs via over 100 hosting and telecommunications companies including 1&1 Internet, GoDaddy, Italiaonline, KPN, Liberty Global, Proximus, Rackspace and Vodafone.
