Get stops forcing broadband customers to pay for TV too

The Norwegian consumer arbitration office, Forbrukarombodet, said cable operator Get has submitted a plan to stop linking the sale of broadband with obligatory take-up of television services. The arbitrator had ruled tied sales illegal in December 2014, as they have forced customers to pay for television services that they are not using. Since then, it has been negotiating with operators to have the practice stopped.
