Getty Images files EU competition complaint against Google

Getty Images has filed a complaint with EU competition regulators, charging Google with favouring Google Images at the expense of rivals. The European Commission is currently waiting for the search engine giant to respond to accusations of abuse of market power in some 12 countries since 2007 by distorting search results to benefit its shopping service. Getty said its problems with Google began in early 2013.
