GFU sees consumer electronics market growing further in 2015

Consumer and home electronics sector association GFU expects total turnover of more than EUR 27.6 billion for the consumer electronics sector in 2014 after a positive Christmas season, with a growth of 2.3 percent to more than EUR 8.5 billion compared with the same period of the previous year. According to GFU, this positive trend will continue with a renewed revenue increase of almost 2 percent to more than EUR 28 billion. Notably TV sets, video games consoles, smartphones, PCs and accessories were popular at the end of the year.
