Ghana dismisses claims of data breaches over Covid-19 tracking

Ghana's National Communication Authority (NCA) has described claims of a breach of privacy of consumer information as misleading. Private legal practitioner Francis Kwarteng Arthur had taken the NCA president, Kelni GVG, Vodafone Ghana and MTN, to court concerning use of customer information to track possible coronavirus infections. The court was due to decide on the injunction application on 23 June.
