Ghana lawmaker calls for full govt disclosure on AirtelTigo takeover plans

A member of Ghana's parliamentary communications committee, Ras Mubarak is demanding full disclosure from the government on the AirtelTigo agreement, describing it as a "bad deal", Business24 reported. The government announced on 27 October that it was in advanced stages of discussions to take over AirtelTigo, one of the three dominant mobile network operators in the country, with a customer base of 5.1 million.
