Gig-Jordan upgrades data centre with HPE Primera

Gig-Jordan says it has completed upgrading the data centre with the first HPE Primera deployment in the country. HPE Primera provides intelligent storage for mission-critical applications and claims extreme resiliency and performance with the agility of cloud applications. The data centre upgrade includes server and storage consolidation and Gig-Jordan has installed the HPE Primera A630 All-Flash SAN storage to provide 100 percent availability of services. 

Gig-Jordan has also installed new computing and storage resources to accommodate enhanced virtual workload and new applications that require faster access to storage resources. HPE Primera uses the AI capability of HPE Info Sight to deliver simplicity, availability and performance for mission-critical applications. It provides a simple, consumer-grade service for mission-critical storage.

The data centre was accredited by Uptime Institute of the US and has become the only data centre in the kingdom to obtain this global certificate.
