Giganet starts roll-out of its own full-fibre network in South of England

Hampshire, UK-based ISP Giganet, subsidiary of telecoms services provider M12 Solutions, has started the roll-out of its own full-fibre network to connect over 300,000 premises in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex.

The roll-out is supported by a GBP 250 million investment in parent company M12 from Fern Trading. This investment will enable Giganet to connect more than 2 million UK homes and businesses to full-fibre broadband. The roll-out of its own network will create over 200 new jobs in the regions where it is building, the company said.

Giganet is also expanding its full-fibre offering on CityFibre and Openreach network infrastructure.
