Global IT spending to lift 6% on 5G smartphone sales, but Coronavirus will cloud forecast - study

Global IT spending is expected to climb this year, pushed especially by smartphone sales as people look to buy 5G-enabled devices, but the outlook will be clouded by the impact of the Coronavirus. Faced with the epidemic and the uncertainty of its impact, businesses may keep a tight rein on short-term investments.
