Global smartphone sales top 693 million in H1

More than 693.5 million smartphones were sold globally in the first half of 2018. The total revenue amounted to EUR 215.3 billion, which represents an increase of 3 percent compared to same period in 2017, according to a study by GfK. The report also shows that consumers show a clear trend towards premium devices, resulting in an increase in the average selling price by 4 percent.
