GLOBE TELECOM TO HAVE EXPANSION FUNDED
American Telephone & Telegraph (AT&T) (US) and Nokia Telecommunications (Finland) will fund 58% of a P10.5 bil expansion by Globe Telecom (Philippines). Globe has started implementation of a USDlr2 bil plan to set up an international gateway facility, a Philippines-wide cellular mobile phone system, and a fixed phone network.
