Go reassures on funding for Tunisie Telecom offer

Malta operator Go said it's put in place measures to avoid any conflict of interest in the planned takeover of the company by Tunisie Telecom. The statement comes in response to press articles that the deal is being questioned by Tunisian politicians, who see the takeover as a financial burden imposed on TT by its controlling shareholder Emirates International Telecommunications, which also controls Go. Go said the selection of TT's offer was subject to independent due diligence of multiple offers, and it has "robust" measures in place to ensure arm's length negotiations with EIT. The
