Gogo conducts first successful test flight on new ATG network

Wednesday 1 November 2017 | 07:32 CET | News
Gogo conducted its first successful test flight on its new regional ATG inflight network called ATG-NG whose nationwide rollout has been started by the company. The company said its ATG-NG network combined with its proprietary aero antenna, in-cabin network and software platform will bring up to 30 times more bandwidth to an aircraft than its original ATG platform. Once the network upgrades are complete, Gogo will have a North American ATG platform that will deliver performance on the aircraft that is comparable to Gogo's 2Ku global satellite platform.
