Gogo moved back to a profit in the fourth quarter following a tough year hit by the pandemic, with a record number of ATG units online for the full-year. CEO Oakleigh Thorne said Gogo will invest in improving the performance of its proprietary ATG (air-to-ground) network and driving the market penetration of its Avance platform, so that it can introduce "valuable" add-on services such as Gogo 5G in 2022, as well as other technologies, "as they evolve."
