Google acquires French image-recognition startup Moodstocks

Moodstocks, a Paris-based startup specialising in image recognition, said it has been acquired by Google. The company, founded in 2012, develops machine-learning based technology allowing smartphone cameras to recognise objects. No financial details were disclosed.
