Google adds opt-in to delete automatically collected user data

Google announced a new feature to allow users of its online services to delete automatically data collected by the company on their activities. Users can already switch on and off the data collection features Location History and Web & App Activity. Those who choose to leave it on, can now opt to have Google automatically deleted the collected data after a certain period.
