Google and Huawei to pay up to USD 400 to owners of faulty Nexus 6Ps

Friday 12 April 2019 | 11:03 CET | News
Google and Huawei have agreed to a preliminary settlement in a class action from Nexus 6P users filed back in April 2017, reports The Verge. The lawsuit was brought after many Nexus 6P owners said their phones would bootloop or shut down randomly without warning, irrespective of the battery level. If the court approves the settlement, Google and Huawei would be liable to a USD 9.75 million settlement that may result in payments of up to USD 400 for participating plaintiffs, said the report.
