Google announces USD 1 million African internet safety fund

Google has announced the launch of a USD 1 million Google.org fund for ideas concerning privacy, trust and children's safety online in sub-Saharan Africa. It has also launched the child online safety programme "Be Internet Awesome" in South Africa, the Netherlands and Nigeria.
