Google blocked from using student Workspace data for ads

Google is not allowed to use personal data collected in its Workspace for Education software for advertising purposes, the Dutch schools administration group Sivon announced. It provided a template letter to schools outlining the changes to Workspace since Google was told to improve the privacy protection for students and teachers.
